Pierre David Guetta would be the real name of this French born DJ. Guetta was born in Paris, France in 1967 and is famous for his House, Electro House and Hip House music. He began producing music in 1984, but only became famous for his music in the early 00’s. His first album was produced in 2002 titled “Just a little more love”. Two more albums followed this one in 2004 and 2007. These however didn’t perform well on album charts.
He however made a breakthrough in 2009 when he released the album “One more love”. After the first single was released titled “When love takes over” featuring Kelly Rowland, the albums’ performance improved significantly on the Billboard top 200 charts. The single also made it to the number one spot on the UK Top40 chart and stayed there for a number of weeks. The following singles “Gettin over you” featuring Chriss Wills, Fergie and LMFAO and “Sexy Bitch” featuring Akon all made it to number one in the UK and top 5 in the US.
David Guetta also re-released this album with more Club banger hits such as “Who’s that chic” featuring Rihanna and “Revolver” featuring Madonna. Both of these hits performed well in the UK and US entering the top5 charts. Guetta has laid the foundation of many big artists as it all started with Kelly Rowland and LMFAO on this album.
The latest album to be released by the king of collaboration is titled “Nothing but the beat” and is set to hit music stores in September/October. The first single is believed to be one of David Guetta’s best singles. It’s titled “Where them girls at” and features Nicki Minaj and Flo Rida. On this album David Guetta continued working with new artists. The second big hit from the album features music’s latest pop sensation, Taio Cruz and also Ludachris and is titled “Little Bad Girl”. The album is doing so well after its release, that unofficial singles even began to chart all over the world. These would be “Turn Me On” featuring Nicki Minaj, “Sweat” featuring Snoop Dogg and the biggest of them all, “Titanium” featuring Sia.
